With Valentine’s Day coming up next Tuesday there’s still time to treat your beloved.
Hopscotch, which is chock full of goodies, should be first stop on the High Street. The Present has plenty of gorgeous cards and gifts as does Room 89 in Union Street. You can say it with flowers from Bottega Zagara and Floral and Hardy – both stock a broad selection of other luxuries. Odette and Fashion and Wine are also ideal gifts (and vouchers – yes please!) and there are more special bottles at Stonewines.
However, this rather fabulous ‘Bou Cake’ from Mr Kipling has caught my eye along with the special-edition boxes. I’ve always been partial to a French Fancy or Mini-Battenberg so, to be honest, I’d be thrilled.
