£6 per participant. Includes entry to the mill and museum. Accompanying adults must buy an entrance ticket for the mill and museum.

Discover the Tudors in this Special Discovery Event
Join us for a day celebrating everything Elizabethan, inspired by the famous Hatfield House Rainbow Portrait featured in our new exhibition. Try out quill writing and wax seals; make a mini Tudor house; find out about Tudor objects; try on clothing and much more.
Designed for ages 5+ but everyone is welcome but little ones may need adult support with the more fiddly parts. Please be aware that ink will be used for quill writing so please wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy.

Create an Oak Leaf Windmill Toy

Create a Story Workshop with the Red Phoenix. This session is designed for ages 8-15 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Beginners welcome! Tickets are £15 per child and include admission for the accompanying adult. Tickets include the afternoon workshop, a tour of the museum galleries beforehand and time to explore the mill.
