The UK-Japan Music Society is presenting a performance of J.S. Bach’s masterpiece, St John Passion, on Palm Sunday on 24th March 2024, hosted by St. John the Baptist Church, Barnet.

It is a dramatic retelling of the Passion story in music and song, with words from St. John’s epistle and composed by J. S. Bach.

It is written ​so beautifully and movingly, and ​through the music of Bach, you will reflect today’s world around us and yet find there is hope for the humankind after this.

It is performed by UK-Japan Choir with the members of the Church Choirs of St John the Baptist, Barnet, St Mary’s, Monken Hadley and St Mark’s, Barnet Vale.

The professional Orchestra and the international soloists will join forces with the Choirs and the performance is conducted by Jonathan Gregory.
