Rock Around The Block at Mill Green Watermill
This exhibition explores over half a century of popular music in and around Hatfield from the 1930s through to the 1970s. Throughout the 20th Century the area grew as new businesses settled in the town and after the Second World War it was identified for expansion as one of a series of ‘new towns’. Alongside this growth came an expanding musical community ready to embrace the changing world of pop and rock music and dancing. Summer Soulstice returns in 2023, now in its 16th year. Bringing you some soul on a summers day, in the idealic surroundings in Barnet, North London. Three music arenas, live acts, over 30 of the UK’s favourite DJ’s, food hall, stalls and entertainment for children. To date well over £480,000 has been raised for Cherry Lodge Cancer Care, and in memory of Andy Weekes.

Part of this years Theatre in the Park season, this family event offers magic, music and fun for children aged 4 - 10 and their families and carers. Mr Tiz will be there with his magic show, balloon modelling and disco. He will be joined by Punch and Judy, Bubble Brew, The Broxbourne Jazz Trio and the Teddy Bear Colouring Tent. Bring soft toys, picnics and something to sit on.
