North London Organic Gardeners Meeting
Our speaker will be Liz McElroy talking to us about the work of Earthworks in St Albans. “Since 1995, our Earthworkers, supported by staff and volunteers, have transformed an area of waste land into 3.5 acres of beautiful, flourishing eco-gardens. It was established for people of all abilities to learn and work together. We manage these gardens in an environmentally sustainable way and grow our plants using organic methods.”

Paulette Henry, the co-founder of Black Rootz is coming to talk to us about this widely known project. Black Rootz was established in the Spring of 2019. Its home is at Wolves Lane Horticultural Centre. Volunteers work together recognising the need for “Black and Minoritised growers to reflect and represent the cultural diversity of the Borough of Haringey and the wider UK.”
