Googlies Jazz Supper Club
Googlies Jazz Supper Club hosts some of the country’s best jazz musicians and offers a optional freshly prepared two course meal with table service and a well stocked, reasonably priced bar in the intimate setting of Botany Bay cricket pavilion. Music at Googlies covers a wide range of styles including Mainstream, Bebop, West Coast, Latin etc with interpretations of many ‘standards’ and jazz classics. The bar will be open from 7pm. Places and suppers must be ordered in advance. We will allow only limited numbers to ensure safe spacing. Bookings from people who are not currently paid-up members will only…

The Big Choir London is a community "no audition" fundraising choir. We raise money for Cancer Research, and have a lot of fun doing it. We're singing contemporary pop songs, anything from the 60's to modern day, we'll be trying a few show tunes and maybe even some gospel. Anything is possible! Come and join us.... Come and visit Tudor Park and enjoy live music, informative talks on the local area and environment throughout the day, stalls and food vendors. This is the second year we have run the festival and the object is for a fun day out for people in the local community, but also to heighten awareness of the project to renovate, refurbish and restore the currently derelict and delapidated 104 year old Maws Pavilion in the Park. There'll be childrens' activities including model making, face painting and a Have-A-Go Zone. There's a Martial Art demonstration and as Medieval History demonstration as well…

The free East Barnet Festival in lovely Oak Hill Park is back this year on 29th and 30th June. On the evening of 28th there will be music, food and a bar. Throughout the week-end there will be a funfair, bands, choirs, loads of stalls, twelve different types of catering, crazy golf, a bar and arena activities. The dog show takes place on the Saturday and the car show on the Sunday. Lots to do and see.

Barnet Choral Society performs a miscellany of songs about country life and, of course, birds. Conducted by Rory McCleery and accompanied by Colin Spinks, the evening will end with some pre-Wimbledon strawberries and cream. Tickets are free for under-18s but under-16s must be accompanied by adult.
