Party on the Green -St John the Baptist Church
On Saturday 24th August, St John the Baptist Church will be welcoming all to the Party on the Green. Lunch available at the BBQ, plus Pimm's and Prosecco. Stalls, including a Tombola and raffle plus a bouncy castle will be on the green. Music provides by the Ukulele and Da Capo bands will be accompanying the fun. Tea and cakes plus beer from the Mitre inside the church, The famous Teddy Zip Wire returns so bring along your favourite ted or soft toy for a trip of a lifetime! Googlies Jazz Supper Club
Googlies Jazz Supper Club hosts some of the country’s best jazz musicians and offers a optional freshly prepared two course meal with table service and a well stocked, reasonably priced bar in the intimate setting of Botany Bay cricket pavilion. Music at Googlies covers a wide range of styles including Mainstream, Bebop, West Coast, Latin etc with interpretations of many ‘standards’ and jazz classics. The bar will be open from 7pm. The Big Choir London is a community "no audition" fundraising choir. We raise money for Cancer Research, and have a lot of fun doing it. We're singing contemporary pop songs, anything from the 60's to modern day, we'll be trying a few show tunes and maybe even some gospel. Anything is possible! Come and join us....
