Googlies Jazz Supper Club
Googlies Jazz Supper Club hosts some of the country’s best jazz musicians and offers a optional freshly prepared two course meal with table service and a well stocked, reasonably priced bar in the intimate setting of Botany Bay cricket pavilion. Music at Googlies covers a wide range of styles including Mainstream, Bebop, West Coast, Latin etc with interpretations of many ‘standards’ and jazz classics. The bar will be open from 7pm. Places and suppers must be ordered in advance. We will allow only limited numbers to ensure safe spacing. Bookings from people who are not currently paid-up members will only…

The Big Choir London is a community "no audition" fundraising choir. We raise money for Cancer Research, and have a lot of fun doing it. We're singing contemporary pop songs, anything from the 60's to modern day, we'll be trying a few show tunes and maybe even some gospel. Anything is possible! Come and join us.... Finchley Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Choir, conductor David Lardi, perform Beethoven. In his third symphony, the ‘Eroica’, Beethoven revolutionised the form. The sheer scale, the emotional power and range, are like nothing that had been heard before. The first movement alone dwarfs many previous symphonies and is followed by a funeral march, a scherzo in which the French horns frolic, and an ultimately triumphant set of variations.
