London Festival of Architecture walk visiting Chipping Barnet historic centre and rambling through some of the lovely greenery that almost surrounds our town. Barnet Environment Centre Summer Picnic
Our main event this summer will be a family picnic day on 2nd July, 11am to 2pm. People can picnic in the Centre garden - or inside if it is wet. Please bring your own blanket and picnic basket. There will be some activities, organised by our new teacher. If the weather permits, we will do meadow-sweeping (as it is National Meadow Day on 1st July), and pond dipping. You will also be able to do self-guided walks using the Sensory Trail and Tree Trail cards - or just have a wander. Refreshments will be available (cash only).
