A chance to hear why former BBC political and industrial correspondent Nicholas Jones – a Barnet resident for the last 50 years – is so concerned about the difficulty people have in finding out about local news. High Barnet Chamber Music Festival: Charity Concert
In memoriam Jean Middlemiss. This concert features performances from local musicians of all ages. After the concert, there will be a reception at Ewen Hall with a short address by Baroness Julia Neuberger. This event is free, no booking required; there will be a retiring collection in aid of Barnet Carers and The Jean Middlemiss Award.

Barnet Christmas Fayre
The annual Barnet Christmas Fayre starts with a procession at noon with a range of festive activities continuing through the afternoon. The High Street will be closed to traffic and there will be a selection of market stalls, Christmas parade, funfair, children's shows, music, dance and Christmas courtyard.
