Finchley Symphony Orchestra under conductor Christopher Stark present their first concert of 2023. Mélanie Bonis was a Parisian late-romantic composer whose music suffered years of neglect despite winning high praise from contemporaries such as Saint-Saens. The Suite en forme de valses explores the waltz form in a wide variety of treatments. London-born German-Brazilian violinist Konrad Elias-Trostmann has performed around the world including at Carnegie Hall, the Wigmore Hall, the Melbourne Recital Centre and Sala Cultural Itaím São Paulo.
